Victory Magnum-X1 Pushes the Sound Barrier

I’m speechless … or is that drowned out by the sound of 200W of speakers from Victory’s latest addition to the Cross-series tourers?

There comes a point at which you wonder whether the bike has got an audio system or the audio system is portable … and motorised, and Victory took that a few steps further at the Full Moon Saloon on Daytona’s Main Street, at a Godsmack gig.

No, it wasn’t the PA, but start worrying if Victory bring out a Magnum trike.

Four-times louder than a Cross Country and twice as loud as a regular Magnum, the 10-speaker system is the icing on the cake on a bike that already has an LED headlamp that is 74% brighter than thre Cross Country’s halogen, special billet wheels and a paint scheme that manages to drown out the sound of the brashest of the regular Magnums in an ear-splitting shade of Lime Green, using just ‘electric’ red over gloss black and platinum.

Victory’s headline act will be in dealers from April 2015 with a retail price of £19,599, and it will be interesting to see just how quickly someone is pulled over and asked to turn their stereo down, to make sure their pipes aren’t too noisy!
